Electrolux’ Russian ex-unit to produce under own brand

MOSCOW, Jan 18 (PRIME) -- Former Russian unit of Sweden's household appliances producer Electrolux plans to launch its own brand of equipment, Commercial Director of retailer Holodilnik.ru Alexei Pogudalov told PRIME on Wednesday.

"Electrolux has indeed left Russia and sold the local business to the executives. The local team is preparing an own brand for the launch… We plan to sell built-in appliances, small household appliances," Pogudalov said.

He said that the products may have a market share of 1% in 2023 and up to 5% in several years. The tools may be produced in the Asian states and Turkey.
